This example shows the different HTML body tags.

2.How can you format text in an HTML document?

HTML uses tags like <b> and <i> for formatting output, like bold or italic text. 

These HTML tags are called formatting tags (look at the bottom of this page for a complete reference). 

Preformatted Texts

This is an example of a mpreformatted text.It preserves both spaces
and line breaks.

2.Why would you use preformatted text?  

You would use prefomatted text to preserve both spaces and line breaks

2.What are "computer output" tags used to display?

These tags are often used to display computer/programming code.
